Simply delete the /.NeedToWrite folder to fix this.If you encounter any other startup crashes, either switch to a smaller(<1MB) image file for your background image, or install TTS for your phone. Its free on the Android market.Text to speech for SVOX classic will only work if you enable both the SVOX Classic engine under your phones TTS settings, as well as enable Language Override inside SVOX Classic TTS settings.TTS with SVOX is buggy for IceCream Sandwich, users are advised to use Googles own built in TTS engine. For more information, pls refer to Help in the menu.Important! 2013-02-20I just encountered this sudden bug on my SGS3. Cut and Copy buttons will crash my phone everytime in any version of NTW Lite or Pro.So after some digging, I found that there is a bug in how certain phone models especially Samsungs implements the clipboard. The temporary solution is either a factory reset, or to do this:1. boot into recovery > advanced > wipe cache2. reboot phone > ES Explorer (enable root mode)> delete /data/clipbord/*3. reboot recovery again > advanced > fix permissions4. reboot phone > its fine again, but until Samsung fixes their firmware, the same problem will eventually recur for apps that implement their own cut/copy/paste buttons.Referenceshttp://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s3/565061-galaxy-s3-crashing-when-copying-text-clipboard.html#post4724673http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=35732http://veetipaananen.fi/dear-samsung-please-fix-your-clipboard/Dont hesitate to email me if you still have problems.v1.91- Introduced dedicated menu buttons in file browser and on the toolbar. Also, long pressing "New" or "Browse" will trigger a popup menu.- Minor bug fixes
What a shame. I finally find an Android text editor that I can configure with glowing green text on a black background, with lots of features so I can work on fiction whereever I may be. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to select text and there is no help file (I can find), no manual, and no tips or tricks that I was able to find using a Google search. When I press the screen to begin selecting text (the usual Android convention, I believe) one of the configuration menus pops up. If the developer can assist me with an answer, I will revise my review and be happy to use the app. After all, they already have my dough. BTW I use a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Note pad device.
Really easy on the eyes, very easy to use. Worth every penny.
I have to say 5 stars for the innovative design...
I've tried the popular ones. I use NTW to update my website. It's totally reliable. I bought the pro version.
No complaints, no complaints at all. I really like this and use it quite frequently.
Haven't used many of its features, but I like the ones that I HAVE used.
Absolutely fantastic! Great distraction-free editor implementation, and the only one on the market that's got a working fullscreen edit! (I've tried -all- of them). If you want to do real writing on your phone with a bluetooth keyboard, -this- is the way to do it. I can finally write -anywhere-! Super customizable, and the theme out of the box is high contrast and very easy to work with. I don't have a tablet to test it on, but I expect it's just as good on one. Great, responsive dev!
Love the customization options, works well with Swiftkey Tablet (unlike some other well known text editors), does what it's supposed to do. Surprised it's not used more.
Very poor of features and clunky in opening a new file... horrible graphics
